In addition to offering a vast range of metrology products, we provide ISO 17025-accredited calibration, dimensional inspection, and repair services. Plus, we can deliver custom-engineered solutions that leverage advanced automation and control systems, machine vision, and robotic technologies.

As a Field Service Technician at MSI Viking, you will be responsible for servicing a variety of machines including but not limited to optical comparators, vision systems, hardness testers, surface plates, and CMMs at customer sites. You will perform installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure they operate accurately and reliably. This includes mechanical, electrical, and software components. Requirements

Be able to be away from home up to 4 nights a week, and weekends may be required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a calibration service technician or equivalent

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Experience with various metrology brands and software, such as Starrett, Micro-Vu, or Mitutoyo

Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical diagrams

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites in company vehicle

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
