Field Service Technical Coordinator

This function incudes, but is not limited to:
- Possession of administrative resources (computer, internet hubs, timesheet/LEM requirements, Quality documentation, HSE documentation, scope specific resources/drawings/work packages)
- Proper job execution readiness (tooling + consumables specific to the work scope)
- Providing technical service to clients of Blackstone Industrial Services
- Assigning access, training and certification requirements while managing the completion of such.
- Managing both contractor and employee lodging and transportation.
- Develop operational procedures and improve on existing practices to provide clients with the highest level of responsiveness and vendor confidence.
- Develop project plans and schedules based solely on project scope and with minimum direction and input.
- Assist the Field Service Manager with internal reporting, future resource loading/planning, ROI (return on investment) capital projects, and both internal stakeholder and external client presentations/demonstrations.
- Assist the Field Service Manager with documentation completion and statistic collection.
- Generate client specific FSRs (Field Service Reports) and ensure the completion and sign off of quality documentation.
- Participate in client meeting (on an as needed basis).
Essential functions:
- Completion of secondary schooling in mechanical engineering is considered an asset.
- Be responsible for pre scope, during execution and post project scope activities as it applies to the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of critical rotating equipment.
- Be responsible for knowledge of assigned rotating equipment including maintenance, repair/refurbishment, and installation.
- Provide the client with operational/technical/business support in order to achieve desired results.
- Producing supporting documentation and completing all necessary post scope reporting.
- Complete on-site client meeting and temporary deployments on an as neededbasis
- Results oriented with the ability to effectively manage simultaneous multiple priorities and timelines.
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organization skills, with the proven ability to juggle and reprioritize basedon business demands and priorities.
- Strong communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form.
Previous experience as a Millwright is highly valued for applicants!
Field deployment is available in an as needed frequency - overtime eligible on a job site.
