£43,000 – £53,000 (dependent on experience)
Overtime (Double/Triple Time) + Company Van
Field Based – UK Wide Travel (Avgeraged 2 Nights Away Per Week)
About the Business
Join a niche engineering manufacturer delivering full turnkey projects for blue-chip customers across the UK and globally. They are well established company who designs, builds and installs bespoke HVAC systems.
The business is known for its high standards, strong customer relationships, and a close-knit, sociable team that enjoys working and celebrating success together. Due to a continuously full project order book, they are looking for Field Service Engineer to join their team.
The Role of the Field Service Engineer:
This role exists due to continued demand and growth of turnkey projects. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for servicing, installation, commissioning and breakdown support for HVAC systems.
This is a customer-facing role suited to a Field Service Engineer who is technically strong, confident onsite, and able to think on their feet.
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:
Service, maintain, commission and repair HVAC systems
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults (fans, motors, wiring, control panels)
Troubleshoot and provide temporary solutions when required
Deliver strong customer service and represent the company to blue-chip clients
Ensure visits are completed on time and within schedule
Provide clear service documentation and parts usage reports
Occasionally support international customer visits
Requirements of the Field Service Engineer:
Mechanical or Electrical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or similar)
Strong Mechanical or Electrical experience
At least 3 years Field Service Engineer in a role
Experience with building services or HVAC systems
Must have the Right to Work in the UK – sponsorship cannot be offered for this role
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel nationwide and occasionally internationally
17th or 18th Edition Electrical Wiring regulations (desired)
F-Gas qualification (desired)
