Position: Field Service Engineer\nLocation: Covering Midlands\nSalary: Up to £40k basic + overtime\nThe Company: CNC Machine Tools manufacturer\n\nThe Role:\n• A role requiring the engineer to travel to customer sites to service their machines as part of a programme of maintenance.\n• The visits include fault diagnosis, checking machine alignments and generally servicing tasks.\n• Representing the business to customers, the engineer will work in a professional safety conscious way at all times.\n• This would suit an electrical or mechanically qualified engineer.\nRequirements:\n• The successful candidate will be given full training on their range of machines and become a key member of Service Team.\n• Must have electrically or mechanical experience\n• Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and schematics electrical drawings,\n• Have basic programme experience (Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain)\n• Understanding of levelling alignments and geometric of machine tools\n• Knowledge and understanding of different control systems\n• Professional and customer focused attitude\n• A committed, 'can do' attitude\n• Flexible, able to work overtime, weekends and overnight stays\n• Clean driving licence\n• Strong problem-solving abilities\n• Ability to communicate with customers at all levels\n• Transferable skills that can be put across several different models of machines
