Job Overview

CabCraft Interiors Inc. is hiring Field Installers/Finish Carpenters to join our elite installation team responsible for installation of our pre-engineered panel and ceiling systems. In this hands-on role, you'll travel between our fabrication shop and job sites across the DC Metro region, delivering expert-level installations with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. We're looking for skilled, punctual craftspeople who take pride in their work and enjoy working in the field on some of the most unique commercial interiors being built today.

Key Responsibilities
Install custom architectural finishes in commercial elevator interiors and lobbies, including:
Wall panel systems
Ceilings
Lighting
Handrails
Metal cladding
Travel to job sites across Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore.
Read and interpret architectural drawings and layout plans.
Communicate and coordinate with general contractors and clients on-site.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent CabCraft with integrity.
Ensure precision measurements and top-quality finish work.
Transport tools and materials to and from job sites (transportation provided).
Follow all safety protocols and site-specific guidelines.

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in carpentry, cabinet installation, millwork, or trim carpentry.
High school diploma or GED .
Ability to read tape measures and architectural prints.
Detail-oriented with excellent craftsmanship and pride in finished work.
Must own basic hand tools.
Good math skills and strong problem-solving ability.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Skills
Experience working on active commercial construction sites.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with shop drawings and technical layouts.

Schedule
Full-Time - Monday to Thursday
10-hour shifts
40+ hours per week with available overtime

In person - travel between shop and job sites
Job sites located throughout Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore
Daily transportation provided from shop; travel time is paid hourly
