L.B. Stone Properties is seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our commercial properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained while responding promptly to maintenance needs. The job duties include, but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of properties to maintain safety, cleanliness and to identify potential issues.
• Perform general building maintenance, including:
  • Minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs; coordinate outside plumbers, electricians and mechanical technicians, as needed
  • Minor Irrigation/sprinkler and grounds maintenance, oversee outside landscape contractors, as needed
  • Various scopes of light carpentry work, including minor exterior/interior painting
  • Monitor temporary laborers as needed, providing guidance and direction to ensure quality work
  • Perform weed control and spraying as part of property maintenance and upkeep
  • Maintain an organized, safe and clean work area
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls
  • Coordinate and track minor property repairs.
  • Work independently while following established guidelines and safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with property managers, contractors and tenants

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property maintenance, construction or related field, is required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, insurance and a good driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of maintenance work.
