Estimator/Purchaser

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionConstruction company in Midlothian is seeking an Estimator for our Residential Division. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team.

Position Responsibilities:
-Create detailed estimates and budgets to be presented in an organized and timely manner.
-Analyze subcontractor estimates for scope accuracy and completeness.
-Responsible for securing the timely preparation and submission of Building Permits through various Municipalities based on deadlines from a construction schedule.
-Create Purchase Orders for each project.
-Enter Budgets for each home in Co Construct.

Position Qualifications:
-Knowledge of design documents, blueprints, and other technical documents involved in high-end custom residential building design and construction
-Experience in high-end custom residential construction estimating
-Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF and familiar with cloud-based software.
-Strong time management and organizational skills
-Extreme attention to detail
-Work efficiently under a deadline-oriented environment
-Self-starter, ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in residential home building is a must.
-Experience with Co Construct and Plan Swift is a plus.
