Wicklow, Limerick City, Castlebar Co. Mayo or Kilkenny City on a full time Permanent position. As part of the role You will join our experienced bid and project delivery departments working on a variety of civil and public realm projects nationwide.Why Apply with Sonas?Experts in Civils & Utilities RecruitmentProvide you insights to the best salaries, rates, benefits on offerWe will get your CV seen by the right hiring managersOne point of contact – we will manage all of your applications, interviews & contract negotiationsEarly access to other opportunities not yet posted on jobs boardsZero CostMain Duties and Responsibilities:Bid DepartmentSupport the Department Manager to ensure the smooth running of the bid estimating process including tender documentation reviews, preliminary design, programs, commercial estimating and technical proposal compilation.Co-ordination and preparation of bid including follow-up, collection of inputs from various suppliers, sub-contractors, or 3rd parties i.e. equipment supply proposals.Preparation of supporting proposal documentation for the bid including technical proposals, equipment selection information, project delivery & management plans including resources & preliminary project programmes.Project DeliverySupport the Department Manager to ensure the smooth running of project level commercial processes including tendered documentation reviews, preparation and tracking of for construction programs, change management registers, CVRs, EWs, CEs, AFPs.Co-ordination and preparation including follow-up, collection of inputs and negotiation of terms with various suppliers, sub-contractors, or 3rd parties e.g. equipment supply proposals, civil subcontract packages, MEICA subcontract packages.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Experience working in a similar role is preferred.Ability to work as part of a team and provide input at team meetings.Minimum of a Level 7 Degree in a relevant QS Qualification.Ability to engage with suppliers and sub-contractors.Ability to use own initiative, problem solve and adjust as issues arise during tender compilation.Good working knowledge of MS packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project.Strong communications skills with a high level of motivation.Strong organisation and time keeping / scheduling skills.Working in an organised system to deliver tender proposals/projects within stringent timelines.
