We service equipment such as electrical, mechanical, optical/visual, pressure, force, process control units, and more, to help businesses meet documentation and quality requirements.
Who Do We Need on Our Team?
We’re seeking a technically proficient individual with excellent communication skills who is motivated to learn and grow in the metrology/equipment calibration industry.
We need someone who can provide exceptional customer service, has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and is attentive to details in order to calibrate/repair customer equipment according to their quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with operational staff and customers to determine their needs in areas such as repairs, alignments, technical assistance, and any other areas of concern.
- Perform calibrations, modifications, diagnoses, and repairs on diverse types of testing and measurement equipment.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports, as required.
- Adhere to quality requirements.
- Perform quality assurance functions to ensure compliance with all customer requirements.
- Ensure customer-owned equipment is serviced and returned within the promised turnaround time.
- Use standard hand tools, measurement and test equipment, computers, and devices.
- Perform laboratory support functions, as required, for the efficient and orderly operation of the facility.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Education and/or experience in related fields (optical engineering, electronics, metrology, etc.) .
- Experience in a laboratory setting or with electronics
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment
- Technical training and experience in Metrology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Ability to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; physically capable and able to move heavy lapping plates repeatedly.
