We are looking for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Teesside. This role is with a global EPC, on a part time nine month contract outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:



* Provide environmental engineering support during the FEED phase of the project.



* Assist with permitting processes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.



* Support environmental management activities for a COMAH-regulated site.



* Advise on environmental risk assessments and mitigation strategies.



* Collaborate with project teams to integrate environmental considerations into engineering and construction plans.



* Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders as required.



* Contribute to documentation and reporting for environmental compliance.



* Support documentation control and planning team coordination as required.



Requirements:



* Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.



* Proven experience in environmental management and permitting within industrial or COMAH sites.



* Familiarity with UK environmental regulations and compliance standards.



* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
