Entry-Level Trimble Software/Revit/CAD Technician

We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Entry- Level Trimble Software/Revit/CAD Technician to support our field layout coordination efforts in Commerical HVAC Mechanical duct work. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Fab shop, Project Managers and field teams to ensure accurate data is translated into real-world construction layout using Trimble software and equipment.

This is a key position for ensuring precision and efficiency across project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Use Trimble software (e.g., Trimble, Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk etc.)
• Review HVAC drawings, blueprints, and specifications to perform material and labor takeoffs
• Quantify ductwork, fittings, piping, and mechanical equipment using digital takeoff software
• Maintain organized and accurate takeoff documentation for each project

​ Perferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble)
• Experience working in HVAC estimating, fabrication, or field installation
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency (Excel)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Understanding of SMACNA standards and ductwork types

• Ability to perform both manual and digital takeoffs

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Experience but willing to teach, if willing to learn.

Pay based on experience
