Job Title: Engineering Technician (Manufacturing Support) – Level 2–4
Location: Onsite –West ColumbiaSC
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3PM – 11 PM
Pay Range: $24.00/hr to $32.40/hr (Based on experience and level)
About the Role:
We’re hiring Engineering Technicians (Levels 2–4) to join our new Mod C manufacturing area, supporting production of Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Databar, and cable assemblies. This is a hands-on, floor-based role focused on launching and sustaining production—no design work involved.
You'll play a key role in developing assembly processes, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting over 30 assemblers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
What You’ll Do:
Support launch and sustainment of manufacturing processes for PDUs and related products.
Develop and maintain assembly instructions and work procedures.
Act as the first point of escalation for assembly line issues.
Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and coordinate with quality, test, and materials teams.
Assist in training assemblers and providing performance feedback to supervisors.
Use CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) to review drawings (no design work).
Maintain records and communication using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with an associate degree, OR
5+ years of experience with no degree (flexibility for the right candidate).
Backgrounds in assembly, production support, or manufacturing engineering are ideal.
Strong people skills and the ability to lead, communicate, and solve problems on the floor.
Ability to read technical drawings, perform basic measurements in CAD, and work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience:
Junior Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering roles
Lead Assembler or Cell Leader experience
Assembly Line or Production Leadership
