This team has the responsibility for taking breakthroughs and delivering them to market at scale. The Applied Materials team in Reality Labs seeks an Engineering Project Coordinator 6 month initial contract extendable to 2 years to drive sample supply chain logistics procurement budgeting and materials management. We are looking for careful organized individuals who are able to work across multiple projects to facilitate materials management and coordinate with multiple vendors and suppliers. This is a fully remote position supporting teams based in Seattle WA and Sunnyvale CA. Responsibilities As the Engineering Project Coordinator you will help coordinate and administer all engineering project activities including logistics procurement vendor onboarding budgeting and tracking targeting a successful execution of the project You will communicate project status to vendors regarding PO/invoice material requirement and delivery schedule You will work with engineers technical program managers product technical leads management and lab teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient execution. You will track the operational and executional aspects of engineering projects Key skills and experience Experience coordinating supply chain and logistics of physical goods. preferably relating to hardware or materials physical goods. Attention to detail with multitasking and prioritization abilities Ability to bring order to chaos with organization and communication Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders including vendors suppliers Familiarity with project management tools and softwares including excel Smartsheets and google suite sheets slides docs etc. Bachelors degree Preferred experience Experience working in hardware or materials industry plastics and/or adhesives Experience as a Engineering Project Specialist/ Technical project manager
