Won't be doing any technical work but should be able to understand code and be able to mentor and push back on developers 3) 5+ years professional experience with O365, .Net, SQL, PowerBi, AWS, Postgres DB 4) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar Description The SharePoint/CRM Engineering Manager leads a team of SharePoint and CRM specialists and software developers that create solutions that solve complex problems utilizing modern software technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for planning, grooming, designing, and architecting the most efficient implementation while driving to improve productivity, efficiency, and quality in delivering SharePoint and CRM solutions. Solutions typically involve automating the execution of manual tasks, data manipulation (extract, normalize, transform, organize, query), based on the business user requirements. Your overall responsibilities include SharePoint and CRM technical support, administration, training, troubleshooting, business users’ relationship management, and vendor relationship management. You will also be responsible for collaborating with practice leads to assess, plan, and address technological and training roadmap to remain current with technological changes, trends, and innovations in the Microsoft O365 technologies. Primary Responsibilities: • Directly manage and lead senior, mid and junior SharePoint/CRM specialists and developers. Ensure they’re successful in completing their tasks within the sprint schedule while maintaining internal technology, QA and InfoSec standards. • Build and retain a high performing team through strong leadership, vision, training and personnel management. • Establish standards and processes within the SharePoint/CRM group to continuously improve consistency, predictability, efficiency, and supportability of the overall product. • Lead the product enhancement roadmap leveraging continuous business users’ feedback and by collaborating with other technology teams while actively managing risks and changing business needs. • Follow and contribute to the constant improvement of agile software development processes and practices (SCRUM) to improve efficiency to maximize resources and reduce expenses. • Maintain and present metrics using various data points to demonstrate progress, performance, risks & resource capacity to senior management. • Identify and incorporate best practices and lessons learned into future initiatives. • Improve the information security level for the SharePoint & CRM applications. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/certification • 7+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Technology such as SharePoint/CRM • 3+ years leading engineering teams, including delegating, managing and prioritization of work • 5+ years professional experience with O365, .Net, SQL, PowerBi, AWS, Postgres DB Skills and Abilities: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Deep technical skill in SharePoint and CRM and ability to describe complex technical concepts in non-technical terms. Strong analytical skills. Must be able to gather, analyze, and interpret data. Demonstrated ability to lead a team. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Strong problem resolution skills. Ability to work independently, under pressure, and with tight deadlines. Must be resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. Must be a team player and able to work effectively with attorneys, legal staff, management, peers, subordinates, and vendors.
