About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Lead to help us grow 10x over the next year. You will work directly with design and business leads to define technical direction and deliver high-impact solutions. As a full-stack, product-minded engineer, you should be comfortable making final calls on technical decisions and finding smart shortcuts that get the right things done quickly.

Our current stack includes:

• Supabase (Postgres)

• FastAPI microservices deployed on Fly.io

• Inngest for async workloads

• Superblocks for internal tools

• Next.js for web apps

• Consumer Platform Development: Reimagine the traditional obituary page and build a modern, consumer-facing experience in a post-Partiful/PaperlessPost/Apple Pay world.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a full-stack engineer, ideally in a lead or senior role.

• Strong product mindset with the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions.

• Experience working with modern web stacks (experience with our current stack is a plus).

• Excitement about leveraging AI to transform engineering workflows.

• Ability to collaborate closely with design, business, and operations teams.

• Passion for building systems that scale and deliver exceptional user experiences.
