Engineer, Product Development

1. The ability to lead the program design and development independently2. Understands all the product and component drawings and specifications from CS global team. 3. Reviews all the drawings and specs, make sure all the specs and requirements are clearly and correctly followed up by CS plants and suppliers as well. 4. Work on new program quote with team, understand OEM's SOR and create Pstudy and TR correctly.5. Data and drawing management and released by PLM system. 6. Supports the gauge development process and supplier audit regarding the GD&T on drawings. 7. Supports the process and manufacturing engineers for the issues related to product spec, material spec and testing requirements, etc.8. Defines Design/Production Validation Plan for new programs and/or localization of components. Reviews the Validation Reports and make sure all the requirements are correctly followed and met by production or suppliers to achieve final customer approvals. 9. Gets involved in the team work of PFC/PFMEA/CP. 10. Supports cost estimator to calculate the material, labor, and ED&T. 11. Prepares Technical Review Meeting documents required by customer for potential new programs. 12. Maintains the product and material information in ERP system. 13. Reviews the tooling and fixture design proposals with process engineer, making sure all the product spec and requirements are correctly met without any risk. 14. Good communication ability with internal team and Customer.15. Good business mind, problem solve ability, and engagement.16. Performs other tasks assigned by department manager.
