A growing automation and manufacturing solutions provider is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Control Panel Assembler. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong wiring experience and familiarity with control panels. The position offers long-term potential for dependable, quality-driven team members.

Pay Rate: $21-$22.00/hr depending on experience

1st Shift 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and related subassemblies according to specifications
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and bills of material
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, including installation of PLCs, relays, switches, indicator lights, and other components
  • Use a variety of hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills, wrenches)
  • Drill or tap holes to mount control units or provide wiring access
  • Mark up ("red-line") schematics for Engineering change orders as needed
  • Perform mechanical operations such as grinding, deburring, and sawing
  • Operate pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility
  • Install subassemblies into cabinets or enclosures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical wiring or control panel assembly
  • Strong understanding of schematics and electrical diagrams
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must bring your own basic hand tools
  • ???????Steel toe shoes or boots required – must be purchased prior to starting; eligible for reimbursement once hired permanently

Experience:

  • Experience building or wiring control panels
  • Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation components
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with power tools
