Electrician\n\nAnnual Salary: £39,000 to £42,350\nLocation: Southampton\nJob Type: Full-timeJoin our Clients property services team as an Electrician, covering the Southampton area. This role is perfect for a professional who is ready to hit the road and you will be part of a dynamic team in one of the largest housing associations, dedicated to maintaining high standards in over 85,000 homes.\n\nDay-to-day of the role:\n\nCarry out routine testing of electrical services equipment and repairs in our customers' homes as part of our Electrical Team.\nUndertake responsive repairs and works within our planned teams in line with work schedules, Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE) wiring regulations, and to our established standard procedures.\nEstimate, requisition, and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials and spares to ensure satisfactory repairs and maintenance are carried out in accordance with IEE wiring regulations and Health and Safety at Work regulations.\nApply your knowledge and skills to record and report on the status and condition of electrical services equipment via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates.\nMaintain a strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of health & safety best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:\n\nRelevant and up-to-date qualifications, including a minimum of NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field.\n18th Edition (BS7671) and City & Guild 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect certifications.\nExperience within a similar role, ideally within the Residential/Housing sector.\nStrong communication skills for liaising with both internal and external customers.\nFull and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.Role comes with Van, Fuel card and great benefits
