Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with Hanover Displays procedures and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and experience working with electronic components.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret all test procedures and checklists to ensure high-quality PCB production
  • Hand-assemble and secure components on PCBs using various tools
  • Test all production circuit boards (PCBs) for proper function
  • Assemble and secure parts prior to wave and selective solder processes
  • Understand component types, polarity, and proper placement
  • Use various hand tools and equipment as required
  • Assist with additional PCB assembly tasks as needed
  • Visually inspect SMT assemblies to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain production-related documentation accurately
  • Ensure all products meet IPC-610 standards
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
  • Immediately report any safety hazards or unsafe practices to management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent hand soldering skills (SMD and through-hole)
  • Strong component identification abilities
  • Understanding of component polarity requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • High level of attention to detail
  • IPC-610 certification ()
  • IPC J-STD-001 certification ()
