Electrical Maintenance Technician (Days Only – No On call)\n\nManchester – City Centre, M3\n\nFull Time\n\nSalary £40k - £43k, Plus overtime\n\n \n\nSummary\n\nNG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a market-leading, forward-thinking company to be part of a team looking after 5 commercial buildings (all the buildings are within 5 minutes’ walk of each other) contract based in the city centre of Manchester.\n\n \n\nSome of the key deliverables in this role will include:  \n\nDeliver Planned Preventative Maintenance relating primarily to Electrical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLA's in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.\n\nCompleting Remedial Works identified through PPM work undertaken and Reactive when requested.\n\nCarry out planned, reactive and small works. Such as, emergency light testing, lighting upgrades, motor installation, Mechanical PPM and fault diagnosis to building services equipment.\n\nTo maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard\n\nTo ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date and compliance records are maintained for the electrical systems as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.\n\nAssist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required.\n\nThe position is Monday to Friday (Apply online only) No On call\n\n \n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\nAn experienced electrical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.\n\nYou will hold current qualifications to include:\n\nNVQ Level 2-3 (Electrical Discipline or City and Guilds equivalent)\n\n18th Edition\n\nC&G 2391 / AM2 would be advantageous\n\nCapable of undertaking Remedial and Reactive Repairs with minimal supervision.\n\nIOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)\n\nSafe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)\n\nL8 Training (Desirable)\n\n \n\nBenefits:\n\nWe're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.  Some of what you can expect includes: \n\nSalary £40k to £43k (DEO) plus 1.5/2 x rates for overtime\n\n25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays\n\nSick Pay\n\nPension with a leading provider and employer contribution\n\nPersonal Wellbeing and Volunteer Days\n\nPrivate Medical Insurance\n\nFree 24/7 365 Employee Assistance Program to support mental health and well-being (including counselling sessions and legal advice)\n\nFlexible benefits to suit from Dental Insurance, Gym Memberships, Give As You Earn, Travel Insurance, Tax Free Bikes.\n\nPersonal development programme\n\n \n\nNext Steps: \n\nAs a business, we’re on a journey to build on our culture where everyone is included, treated fairly and with respect.
