ESDC is looking for a detailed, results-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Tulsa. If you have an electrical engineering background and want to work in a collaborative environment, this position is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer to complete a variety of project tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and revising construction drawings for electrical distribution and instrumentation systems. Examples include:

  • One-line diagrams

  • Electrical wiring designs

  • Medium Voltage (MV) distribution and controls

• Performing engineering calculations and preparing technical specifications.

• Developing detailed electrical designs and bills of materials.

• Preparing CAD drawings and other project documentation.

• Traveling to U.S. facilities to interact with clients and utility companies.

• Assuring material compatibility with firm standards.

• Completing Arc Flash Modeling and relay programming.

Qualifications

We're looking for a candidate who is a motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Required

• A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (BSEET).

• Technical training and working knowledge of CAD.

• Working knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) and API 500.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Arc-Flash software (SKM, ETAP).

• Experience with protection relays (SEL, Multilin) and relay programming.

• Experience with Medium Voltage (MV) Overhead line design.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
