Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management
Location: Oxford
Salary: £18-20 PAYE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company, delivering maintenance services across a range of commercial properties.
You’ll be responsible for PPM and reactive electrical maintenance, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on lighting, distribution boards, emergency lighting, and other building systems
*
Fault finding, repairs, and small electrical installations
*
Ensure all statutory testing and inspection requirements are met (e.g. emergency lighting, fire alarms)
*
Complete documentation and compliance records accurately
*
Work collaboratively with site and management teams to maintain service standards
Requirements
✅ NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
✅ 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential)
✅ Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) – desirable
✅ Previous experience in Facilities Management or Building Services Maintenance
✅ Strong understanding of PPM schedules and reactive call-outs
✅ Full UK Driving Licence (for mobile roles)
