Job Summary:

EO Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Electrical Engineer to support our advanced directed energy programs. This role is ideal for a hands-on, systems-minded engineer who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and brings strong execution capabilities to the development, integration, and testing of complex laser and power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, analyze, and troubleshoot high-voltage and high-current electrical systems used in directed energy platforms

· Support the development of power distribution architectures, control circuits, and interface electronics for laser subsystems

· Collaborate with systems, optical, mechanical, and software teams to ensure electrical design aligns with performance and safety requirements

· Participate in integration and validation testing of electrical systems, both in lab environments and field settings

· Assist in generating and reviewing technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and safety protocols

· Lead root cause analyses for electrical anomalies and propose effective corrective actions

· Support equipment procurement, hardware integration, and sustainment activities for electrical infrastructure

· Ensure compliance with industry and program-specific safety and quality standards, especially for high-voltage/high-power systems

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

· 3+ years of experience designing or supporting high-voltage or high-power electrical systems

· Proficiency with electrical CAD tools, such as Altium or OrCAD

· Strong working knowledge of electrical safety, grounding, and shielding practices in power electronics and military environments

· Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and multimeters

· Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work across disciplines

· Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and cross-functional collaboration

· U.S. citizenship required; eligibility for a DoD security clearance

· Experience in directed energy, laser systems, or defense-grade power electronics

· Experience with embedded systems or controls engineering is a plus
