Contract Electrical Design Engineer - Subsea/Offshore Projects

Location: North Yorkshire (4 days on-site per week)

Rate: £40 - £50 per hour | Outside IR35

Duration: 6-Month Contract



Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in harsh environments such as subsea, offshore, or extreme operational conditions?



We are recruiting for a contract opportunity with a leading engineering business delivering cutting-edge subsea and offshore systems. The successful candidate will support ongoing design work on complex, high-performance equipment, deally with experience in ROVs, trenching systems, or similar platforms.



Key Details:



6-month contract



Outside IR35



4 days per week on-site (North Yorkshire)



£40 - £50 per hour (depending on experience)



Essential Experience:



Proven experience in electrical design for challenging operational environments



Strong background in subsea, offshore, or trenching/ROV systems



Full lifecycle design capability from concept to delivery



Strong understanding of technical documentation and industry standards



Ideal Candidate:



Confident working with complex machinery and multidisciplinary teams



Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality technical work



Available immediately or on short notice
