Job Description

Electrical Construction Manager – Germany (12 Month extendable freelance contract)

• Location: Essen, Germany
• Start Date: ASAP/Urgent
• Industry: Power Plants
• : Fluent German and English
• Contract Type: Freelance( All inclusive)
• Contract Length: 12 months extendable

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced freelance Electrical Construction Manager to join our client's team. In this critical role, you will oversee all Electrical construction activities on-site, including working with HV transformers, Switchgears, cable routes, cabling, Electrical infrastructure and managing HSE and QAQC parameters. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations are met and coordinate with other project teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily electrical construction activities and ensure alignment with project schedules and safety standards.
• Manage the site daily to monitor progress and compliance.
• Oversee resource allocation, material management, and logistics for electrical works.
• Maintain effective communication between project management, site teams, and subcontractors.
• Prepare accurate documentation, including progress reports and compliance records.

Key Requirements

• Strong electrical engineering background in Power Plant projects
• Proven experience managing electrical construction from planning to commissioning.
• Full knowledge of German electrical standards (VDE) and EU regulations.
• Fluent German & English (project is German)
