Position Summary:
The Cable Technician will be responsible for building, installing, testing, and troubleshooting cables, wire harnesses, and connectors used in robotic systems. This role requires excellent attention to detail, knowledge of electrical systems, and hands-on assembly skills to ensure all robotic equipment functions at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, route, and install cables, wire harnesses, and connectors for robotic systems and automation equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform cable terminations, soldering, and crimping with precision and quality.
• Conduct inspections and tests on cables to ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical standards.
• Troubleshoot wiring and connectivity issues on robotic equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of wiring layouts, cable assemblies, and revisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to support new builds and system upgrades.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards in all electrical assembly work.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in electronics, electrical technology, or related field .
• 2+ years of experience as a Cable Technician, Wire Harness Assembler, or related role in manufacturing, robotics, or aerospace industries.
• Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, soldering irons, and cable testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
