Job Title: Ecommerce Demand Planner

Location: Marin County (Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days from home)
Employment Type: Full-Time/Direct-Hire

About the Role:
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ecommerce Demand Planner to support demand forecasting and inventory optimization across multiple product divisions. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate forecasts by SKU and customer, driving alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to meet business goals and maintain ideal product availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) demand planning cycle, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Manage the forecasting calendar and ensure forecasts are updated and submitted monthly by sales teams.
• Analyze and challenge sales forecasts using historical data, trends, promotions, and seasonality to reach consensus demand plans.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, and Operations to understand key demand drivers.
• Communicate product inventory strategies (new launches, substitutions, discontinued items, etc.) to Supply Planning.
• Prepare and release monthly forecasts and KPI reports to management.
• Provide actionable, data-driven insights to support business decisions.
• Support planning system maintenance, ensuring new SKUs and updates are accurately managed.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field .
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis (Ecommerce experience ).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across departments.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with forecasting or ERP systems .
• Prior experience in a wholesale or consumer products environment a plus.

Compensation: $95,000 – $120,000 annually (depending on experience)
