Who We're Looking For:

EmpiRx Health is in unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Infrastructure and IT Operations. In this critical role, you will lead monitoring, maintenance and incident response operations supporting EmpiRx’s cloud environment and enterprise systems.

What You'll Do:

As a Director, Infrastructure and IT Operations your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities; here are a few:

• Manage Enterprise Systems including documenting processes and procedures required to support applications
• Work with development teams to develop runbooks to monitor, operate and maintain cloud-based in-house developed apps/systems, which include backup, recovery, and failover testing
• Manage outsourced vendor to perform required scheduled maintenance tasks
• Working with development teams define and implement production monitoring requirements
• Define and implement monitoring for enterprise and security systems
• Deploy monitoring tools and processes
• Establish and report on monitoring SLA’s and metrics
• Identify and pursue issue resolution automation opportunities
• Develop and implement incident response procedures for product, enterprise and security systems
• Provide training to relevant teams in the org on incident response.
• Develop and document SOPs around daily operational tasks
• Manage vendor relationships with contractors providing resources that support this role
• Drive a culture of accountability and positioning team for success, focused on achievement of results-oriented MBOs.
• Stay current with the latest relevant technological trends
• Work collaboratively within the organization supporting development, product and engineering teams

What You Need:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-7 years in a Director IT Operations role or similar with 10+ years in progressive infrastructure roles
• Expertise and proficiency in implementing monitoring tools, operational processes, and metrics
• Expertise managing a cloud environment Azure
• Demonstrated understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth, and common security elements
• CompTIA certifications
• Azure certifications
• Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study, and maintaining proficiency in the technical information security domain.
