Job Description

Construction Director – Major Pharma Program (Frankfurt, Germany)

We are engaged on a landmark pharmaceutical program valued at more than €1BN in Frankfurt. To support this project, we are seeking a Construction Director who will play a pivotal role in coordinating and driving execution across multiple large construction projects (each €200M+).

The Role

Working alongside an existing Construction Director, your focus will be field-based execution:

• Coordinate multiple construction projects and align logistics, infrastructure, and site activity
• Act as the central point to pull together all building works into a coherent delivery strategy
• Chair information-sharing meetings, ensuring cross-project alignment and communication
• Manage and drive performance with 2,000+ trade professionals expected onsite at peak
• Provide strong leadership in a high-intensity environment, keeping execution on track and on schedule

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience coordinating large-scale construction programs (individual projects €200M+)
• Strong field execution background – a doer and driver, not just strategic oversight
• German skills essential to engage effectively on the ground
• Pharma industry experience is advantageous but not a requirement

The Commitment

• Full-time, 5 days onsite in Frankfurt (Monday 11am start, Friday lunchtime finish – with flexibility of alternate Fridays off)
