Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a small but growing business. Our services include automotive, light/medium diesel, and heavy duty diesel vehicles. We are looking for mechanics that care about the customer. Willing to go the extra mile. Mechanics not afraid to work on all aspects and varieties of projects. Able to work with the team to meet the unique requirements of each job.

Location: Denver, PA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience)

Expected hours: 40 per week

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities

• Manage jobs to ensure quality work and eliminate comebacks
• Be proficient in diagnosing vehicles, including use of diagnostic tools
• Order parts, ensure unused parts are returned
• Complete work order form for every job
• Submit project folder to office (folder includes bills, work order, other as needed)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Always maintain professional communication with fellow employees and customers
• Understand and effectively follow all shop safety procedures
• Work independently and seek assistance as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics is .
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic light duty.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL ).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts, work in various conditions, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
