About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling agricultural and heavy machinery such as tractors, harvesters, and other equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, detail-oriented, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of farm machinery and vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
  • Test and inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and optimal performance.
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment for repair or maintenance.
  • Replace or repair worn, damaged, or defective parts and components.
  • Perform engine repairs, adjustments, and overhauls as needed.
  • Test and replace electrical components and wiring using meters and hand tools.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Drive company vehicles to transport tools and perform on-site repairs.
  • Review work orders and confer with customers to identify issues and determine repair needs.
  • Stay current on manufacturer systems (e.g., Kubota Link and RIMSS) and service bulletins.
  • Attend training sessions and maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Protect company assets and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment repair, preferably with agricultural or heavy machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, work orders, and technical diagrams.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with Kubota equipment and diagnostic tools .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
