Demand Planner – Veenendaal
What we like to see in you. As a Demand Planner, they are expecting you to be analytically strong and planning/organizing suits you. The position is new, so it is also important that you have a focus on working on a process-oriented manner and constantly looking for improvements. Other things that are important: A completed bachelor in supply chain, logistics, business administration or other similar field; Three years of work experience in planning related work, with and focus on demand area; Knowledge of systems such as Navision, CRM and Anaplan is a plus. Where will you work? Sanorice is originally a Dutch family company with its headquarters in Veenendaal and branches in Belgium and Italy. The organization is the world's largest producer of puffed rice, corn and multigrain waffles. The products are sold to high quality brand and retailers in 40 countries. Sanorice does not produce its own brands, they are only private label products, or products produced for major A-brands. Due to this fact, Sanorice's focus is on the development and production process. Sanorice holding employs about 30 employees who work together to manage the three production sites. In the near future, a fourth production location in Poland will be added to the locations. The Supply Chain holding department consists of five employees, three of whom are in procurement, one project manager and thus the demand planner. Furthermore, at the Holding you can find departments such as sales, IT, Finance and projects ( focused on production lines, buildings and machines. What are you going to do? As the intro suggested, the position of Demand Planner is new within Sanorice. You can help determine the details of the position and align it with the existing processes. To set an expectation, you can think of tasks such as taking the lead in developing the future demand planning. You are responsible for an accurate sales forecast, a forecast that you produce in consultation with sales. Given the new nature of this position, you are much involved in setting up new processes and implementing process optimizations, by constantly focusing on the product life cycle. You do this in collaboration with sales and the project managers. You also discuss the existing product range with them and try to optimize it. In addition, you draw up reports and KPIs. On this basis, based on these reports, you make improvement proposals aimed at achieving the goals you have set.You use the aforementioned in the drafting of scenario analyses, which contribute to setting up the current and future capacity overviews, in order to make the best possible use of them.
