We’re seeking a Customer Demand Planner who will play a vital role in forecasting customer needs, optimizing inventory, and helping us deliver a seamless customer experience. In this role, you’ll ensure the right products are available at the right time, supporting both internal teams and our customers with accuracy, reliability, and proactive communication.
What You’ll Do
Forecast Customer Demand
- Analyze historical sales trends, customer behavior, and market activity to anticipate future needs.
- Build accurate forecasts across products, regions, and timeframes.
- Use analytical tools and data models to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- Partner with Sales and other internal departments to align on demand expectations and customer requirements.
Support Customer Experience Through Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory levels that support customer demand while reducing costs and waste.
- Monitor stock to prevent shortages and overstock situations that may impact customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely product availability.
- Implement strategies that keep customers supplied and minimize disruptions.
Ensure Clean, Reliable Data
- Enter and maintain accurate data in planning systems.
- Audit and cross-check information to prevent errors that may impact customers or internal teams.
- Keep records organized and accessible for quick, responsive customer support.
Communicate & Collaborate
- Clearly communicate demand updates, forecast changes, and planning insights to internal teams.
- Address questions or concerns related to customer demand or inventory planning.
- Work cross-functionally to support new product introductions and product phase-outs with the customer in mind.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership that reflect customer impact and performance metrics.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Identify risks that may affect customer fulfillment and support proactive mitigation.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to improve accuracy and customer experience.
- Recommend enhancements to planning tools and processes to better serve customers and internal teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field ().
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or inside sales.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with demand planning software, ERP systems, or databases.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Strong organizational abilities and comfort managing large volumes of data.
