Controls Project Manager

100% onsite in Auburn Hills, MI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and programs coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Engines / Transmissions / Hybrid / Battery / Charging / eMotor Electronic Control Units (depending on the job posting). Responsible for:
 

·         Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.

·         Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System Community as primary interface.

·         Coordinating Controls Features development.

·         Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns to over all program milestones and objectives.

·         Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment and Risk mitigation.

Requirements:

·         As you will be working on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a proven record of working on his/her own initiative and within a team delivering high quality and robust technical solutions.

·         Bachelor/Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

·         Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience (5 years in automotive).

·         Ability to work in an Agile environment.

·         Previous experience as Controls/SW developer, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus.

·         Fluent English.

·         Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable
