Overview:

Staxmatic is seeking a driven and resourceful Construction Recruiter  to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in supporting field and office operations by sourcing, screening, and placing top construction talent across multiple locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships, and is proactive in developing recruiting pipelines that keep projects staffed and running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for various construction roles.
• Build and maintain a strong network of potential applicants through industry contacts, job boards, advertising, and employee referrals.
• Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate, timely updates to the applicant tracking system.
• Conduct daily outreach calls to prospective candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to create targeted recruiting and interview plans for open positions.
• Identify, vet, and pre-screen subcontractors as needed to support project needs.
• Research and recommend new sourcing methods for both active and passive candidates.
• Perform additional HR/recruiting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of recruiting experience; construction or skilled trades experience .
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in JazzHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar recruiting tools.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
• Professional, team-oriented approach with a passion for connecting people to opportunities.
