Construction Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:
• Estimating / Quantity take-off from blueprints.
• Purchasing / researching materials.
• Preparing work schedules to present to clients.
• Supervising on-going projects within the NYC Metro-area (multiple projects at one time).

Job Requirements:
• Must be able to work well within our close-knit team.
• Must be articulate and work well with engineers, architects, building owners, property managers, subcontractors, and our team members.
• Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing (e.g. emails).
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a project manager or similar experience within the construction industry
• Must have a thorough understanding of project management fundamentals.
• Must be capable of operating a suspended scaffold to perform façade inspections.
• Must be able to read & interpret blueprints outlining exterior work (masonry and roofing).
• Proficiency in computing a must (MS Word and Excel). Proficiency in Auto-Cad a plus.
• Some college , but not required.
