Large General Contractor seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager with HCAI / OSHPD experience to join our team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience on Healthcare Projects under the jurisdiction of HCAI / OSHPD
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is . 
• Proficient in project management tools and construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam). 
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, scheduling, and budgeting. 
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. 
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.  
• Convey a positive can-do attitude

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor project budgets and job cost reports, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Understand and comply with all requirements and responsibilities of the prime contract. 
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure that safety protocols are being adhered to.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, including progress tracking, procurement, and on-site supervision. 
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and change order management. 
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies. 
• Invest in your team and motivate them to work efficiently together as a unit, grow individually in their skills, and ensure compliance with their job descriptions. 
• Set team priorities based on the needs of the project.  Delegate work assignments among the team and provide oversight to ensure execution. 
• Manage expectations and ensure the satisfaction of the Client and design team members and secure repeat business.
