Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 Salary

Silver Dollar Construction, LLC, is a full-service, fully licensed and insured Minnesota general contracting and construction company.  Founded in 2021, SDC specializes in residential remodels, commercial build outs, restaurants, and schools.   

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our construction projects—from initial planning to final completion. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and site supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spend 70% of the time on carpentry projects, working with the crews or independently, and 30% on management/admin tasks
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
• Supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and clients to ensure alignment with project specifications and expectations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety regulations, and resolve any on-site issues.
• Review and approve project documents, contracts, and change orders.
• Manage procurement of materials, permits, and equipment.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders on project status, risks, and solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). OR
• 5+ years of experience in construction management or project supervision.
• Proven track record of managing commercial, residential, or industrial projects (depending on company focus).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety training .
