At Rinker Design Associates LLC (RDA), we’re not just building roads; we’re building careers. We’re seeking talented Construction Inspectors to join our team and help shape the future of Northern Virginia’s transportation network.

This position is eligible for sign-on bonus!

Locations: Manassas, Roanoke, Richmond or Waynesboro
What You’ll Need

• Proven Experience: VDOT inspection experience, including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
• Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pavement marking, and more.
• Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.

Required Certifications:

• VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
• VDOT Asphalt Field Level I & II
• VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field (ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I)
• VDOT Pavement Marking
• VDOT ESCCC or DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector 
• VDOT Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
• VDOT Guardrail, Surface Treatment
• VDOT Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction

What You’ll Do

• Oversee Major Projects: Be on the front lines of critical infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Enforce Standards: Maintain rigorous adherence to VDOT standards and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside experienced engineers, contractors, and agency personnel.
• Solve Real-world Challenges: Adapt to changing field conditions and find innovative solutions.
