Job DescriptionDispute Resolution Solicitor (Infrastructure, Construction & Energy), c4-8 PQE, Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow base, £top market rate + benefits + agile working.
This sizeable and expanding Infrastructure, Construction and Energy Disputes Team at CMS is regularly called on by clients to advise on the highest profile, highest value domestic and international matters.
The firm have a recognised expertise in high value and complex litigation and international arbitration in the construction and energy sectors. As trusted advisors to numerous international companies their offering is global.
Their expertise includes disputes in infrastructure, engineering, utilities, waste, transport, onshore and offshore energy, renewables, healthcare and private developments.
They act for clients at all levels and entry points in the construction and energy sectors, including major institutional and private investors, public sector, contractors, insurers and all tiers of PPP contracts.
As Part Of The Team, You Will Be
- advising on a wide range of construction, engineering and energy disputes both pre-action and in adjudication, arbitration and litigation
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven candidate to quickly gain experience and take on responsibility. The role will involve working closely with a variety of partners, associates and trainees in the team and a wide range of other colleagues from across the firm.
The Ideal Candidate Will
- have solid experience, or a proven interest, in contentious construction [or energy] disputes work.
- have experience of acting in adjudications, court and/or arbitration proceedings
- be skilled in project management and up to speed with law tech and what it can offer.
