Are you an experienced Generator Commissioning Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This dynamic company is seeking a talented Commissioning Engineer to join their special projects division.



As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the company's high-end special projects, from design through to delivery, commissioning, and final handover. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, multi-synchronising generator projects, leveraging your strong technical abilities and broad industry experience.



Key Responsibilities:



- Commission and fault-find low voltage generators up to 3MVA

- Commissioning of synchronising systems, both in island mode and mains paralleling

- Work with various control systems, including DeepSea, ComAp, Woodward, and FGWilson

- Collaborate with installation technicians, project managers, and customers to ensure successful project delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Extensive experience in commissioning and fault-finding generators

Proficient in commissioning synchronising systems and understanding of related concepts (e.g., G59, G99, BaseLoad, Peak Lopping)

Hands-on experience with PLC systems and communications protocols

Relevant qualifications related to BS7671 and SSSTS (or willingness to obtain)

Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Right to work and hold permanent residence in the UK

Willingness to travel within the M25 zone and occasionally outside of London
