Position Overview
As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their policies are accurate, renewals are handled efficiently, and service needs are met with excellence. You’ll work closely with producers, underwriters, and carriers to process policies, endorsements, and certificates, while building long-term relationships based on trust and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process commercial insurance policies, renewals, endorsements, and certificates.
- Provide responsive, high-quality service to clients, addressing questions, concerns, and coverage needs.
- Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and claims teams to ensure smooth policy administration.
- Review policy documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction through proactive communication and solutions.
- Support retention and growth initiatives through upselling and cross-selling when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of commercial lines account management experience in an agency or brokerage setting.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, forms, and processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a client-first mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in AMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Life and Health License or willingness to obtain.
- Bachelor’s degree but not required.
