Role Overview:

As an Estimator at Freedom Interiors Group, you will play a key role in supporting our estimating/precon team efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include in the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for various commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the success of a company on the rise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing project plans, specifications, and scope of work to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Manage communications with clients
• Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and other project components.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary quotes and information.
• Read and understand commercial bid documents and project records and spec's.
• Help senior estimators with administrative tasks related to estimating and bidding.
• Review and analyze supplier proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
• Utilize electronic take off programs to produce estimates and takeoffs

What We’re Looking For:

• A passion for the construction industry, particularly in walls/ceilings, and exterior cladding.
• Experience in Commercial Contracting/Estimating
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Outgoing personality for sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with estimating software is a plus.(Prefer ON Screen takeoff)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Previous experience in estimating and/or related fields is beneficial.
• Someone to grow with the company
• Construction experience and understanding
