Commercial Estimator – Commercial Construction

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite, Full-Time)

Overview

A growing commercial GC is seeking a Commercial Estimator to prepare accurate bids and support preconstruction efforts for ground-up and renovation projects ranging from $500K–$10M.

Responsibilities

• Review plans/specs and define project scope
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates
• Build construction schedules (Microsoft Project or similar)
• Develop bid strategies and schedule narratives
• Solicit/evaluate subcontractor bids and maintain vendor relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams to assemble complete proposals
• Ensure bid accuracy and competitiveness
• Track market pricing and labor trends

Requirements

• 1–5 years of commercial estimating experience
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and means/methods
• Experience with projects $500K–$10M
• Proficiency with estimating software + Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Procore is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to complete occasional site visits
• Must pass full background and FBI fingerprint check
