CLOSED _ Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Position in Europe Rzeszow, Poland Código de referência: Global Manufacturing Engineer Vaga Permanente Quatre Recursos Humanos, member-owner of NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network is supporting a partner looking for Advanced Manufacturing Engineer SUMMARY:Provide global engineering leadership in the developmentof new processes and/or equipment to manufacture new or improved processes orproducts and to facilitate localization into the appropriate operations, and inthe communication, implementation, coordination, and enforcement of the manufacturingstrategies used to drive growth.This position requires travel on an international basisand could be for extended periods of time in support of specific projects orequipment. The incumbent must be able to lead international teams or projects,and be an active and contributing member of a team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead cross functional development/implementation team comprisedof Product Engineering, Supply chain, and local Operations personnel focused ondeveloping new products.Lead the development of new standardized manufacturingprocesses and/or equipment for new products.Responsible for establishing and quantifying initial costassumptions for newly developed processes in advance of program applications.Responsible for documenting and providing trainingmaterials for standardized implementation of the new processes.Must work closely with the product engineering team andhave a high level of experience in applying GD&T, DOE, capability studies,design for manufacturability, measurement systems analysis, reliabilityanalysis, and knowledge of test methods and validation techniques.Apply project management techniques to scheduleengineers, technicians, operating personnel from multiple countries, andequipment suppliers to accomplish project objectives and timing.Develop and maintain budgets, obtain quotations, developcost estimates and costing information related to management of a globalproject.Work with international and local equipment and toolingmanufactures to design and build equipment that meets or exceeds manufacturingrequirements, design standards and specifications.Work closely with the global team and serve in asupporting or consulting role for activities such as capacity and capitalplanning, AR preparation, equipment relocation, equipment rebuild orobsolescence, new facility localization or expansion, machine installations,machine breakdowns or quality/delivery issues.Prepare and communicate periodic and special reportsconcerning progress of process development, capability or localization timingactivities.This position may be responsible for establishing safetyprocedures in support of new machine or processes. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Master’s degree preferred.Over 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.Ability to provide training & mentoring to other employees.Knowledge of Project Management and Data Analysissoftware (MiniTab) are a plus.Must understand the importance of intellectual property,including how to apply for patents and trade secrets to protect innovations.Must be familiar with all safety standards such asmachine guarding, noise limits, control of hazardous energies and the basics ofergonomic design.Ability to travel internationally.
