This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to progress in their career.Why Apply with Sonas?Experts in Civils & Utilities RecruitmentProvide you insights to the best salaries, rates, benefits on offerWe will get your CV seen by the right hiring managersOne point of contact – we will manage all of your applications, interviews & contract negotiationsEarly access to other opportunities not yet posted on jobs boardsZero CostKey Responsibilities and Duties:Involvement in day to day running of contracts including but not limited to:Report to Project Manager in charge of projectsSetting out of all works on site- competent in the use of Total Station & GPS equipmentRegularly checking and surveying of ongoing worksCompiling As Built information for valuations and Safety FileEnsure the site diary is completed accurately and compile photographic records of progress or delays on site on a daily basisEnsure allocation sheets are completed dailyLiaising with Estimator to provide measures for valuations and also to inform of any additional works which may ariseReview latest issue construction drawings and documents for discrepancies and errorsHighlight any technical problems & provide information for RFIs and Queries to PMEnsure construction operations are carried out in accordance with the contract health, safety, environmental and quality requirements as per project RAMSCarry out quality inspections in accordance with company policy and keep records of sameImplement company health, safety, environmental and quality policies in conjunction with the Safety Officer & PMEnsure all site operatives have clear, accurate and appropriate information to carry out their dutiesSupervision of Sub-contractors and monitor their performanceImplementation and supervision of Traffic Management PlansQualifications / Training:Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction ManagementRegistered / Member of a professional body – desirableEssential Skills / Experience:Minimum 2 years experience in a similar roleCivil works experience an advantageIrish/UK experience preferableExperience with pipelines, RC works an advantageExcellent IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft suite and AutoCadExcellent communication skills both written and verbalGood planning and organisation skills
