The successful candidate's duties will include: Reading and understanding electrical drawingsInspecting, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical power distribution systems including automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, conductors, relays, starters, switchgears and transformersStarting up and commissioning electrical power distribution systems including automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, conductors, relays, starters, switchgears and transformersOperate infrared thermography camerasDocumenting detailed reports upon completion The background of the successful candidate must include the following: NETA or NICET CertificationAn engineering degreeTwo years of testing and evaluating low, medium and high voltage electrical power systemsAbility to travel up to 30% (usually Monday through Thursday on site and home Friday) for field service workA solid work historyA US citizen or possess a green cardA residence within 45 minutes
