As an individual contributor you will target, identify and leverage customers to drive Renewable project growth within the geography. The incumbent is to be located in the regions identified and will require travel throughout their assigned territory up to 50%.Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) is a strategic business unit within Honeywell Performance Materials and Technologies (PMT). HPS improves the safety, reliability, efficiency and sustainability of industrial facilities on every continent around the world. HPS offers a full range of industry-leading automation and control solutions and advanced software applications to key vertical industries, including oil & gas, mining, refining, pulp & paper, power, chemical, and life sciences. This role is focused on the growth and development of the HPS-Renewables business focused on Battery Energy Storage solutions and contracts, Microgrid solutions, Remote operations centers along with Hydrogen projects both Green and Blue. Competitive salary and excellent benefits await the successful candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesLead & Support business development in Renewables to deliver growth with new customersDrive Portfolio partnerships via framework agreements with Energy Service Providers ( ESPs) & Independent Power Producers (IPPs)Develop strategic opportunities with developer, investors and technology partnerships for win/win agreements.Own the local strategy for the Region based on the global STRAP plan ( Owned by the Global Leader) Clearly express the value proposition and benefits of the Honeywell Renewable offerings.Effectively develop customer relationships and credibility while developing a good understanding of customer business, initiatives and pain points.Work with and support the Regional Account Manager team through hosting/executing: training, opportunity planning and large presentation delivery.Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting Leverage communication tools (Microsoft teams, SFDC, Altify, etc) to improve productivity. Meet or exceed assigned Sales Quota.YOU MUST HAVEPost-Secondary education in sales/marketing or engineering7+ years of progressive experience in Power, Renewables and/or hydrogen processing industries.5+ years in solution sales experienceWE VALUEBachelor’s Degree A successful track record of solution selling into the Renewables vertical, a solid network from Utilities, Independent Power Producers, Solar providers, Developers and Investor communities.Portfolio sales, and /or business development experience in one or more of the following vertical markets: Renewables, Power, Energy Management, Hydrogen processingUtilize account management software tools to keep complete and current information on customers resulting in effective territory management.Computer Skills: Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)Ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment Strong time management skillsStrong results orientation, with the commitment and drive to achieve business goals in a demanding and competitive business environment Excellent communication skills Executive Presence and PolishExceptional interpersonal skills to lead presentations, lead internally through influence and build and maintain senior level customer relationshipsElevated level of business awareness to help build credibility with the client, spot potential opportunities within a peer group or industry sector, and express the benefits of Honeywell in the appropriate business context Experience using, and training in, one or more complex sales methodologies (Miller Heiman, Customer Centric Selling, Sandler, Challenger, etc.)
