Then join us in our mission to become fossil free within one generation.The job itselfBusiness Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like PV/Solar. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our Solar operations further.As Business Controller you provide financial insides to the solar development area. Your main strengths lie in your ability to act as a financial business partner, being able to communicate with team members in different countries. In this you stand out in your ability to proactively transfer conceptual ideas into practical solutions.In this role you are covering our reporting, planning and forecast processes including change management of these processes. You will be responsible for supporting the business with financial insights and analysis in a range of areas: from reporting actuals and forecasting long-term spend, to analysing cost and performance drivers. You will be part of the controlling team of 3-4 people for the Business Unit Solar and Batteries (BU SoBa).Your main tasks & responsibilities:Prepare monthly reporting for the Solar Development area in Business Unit Solar & Batteries including data processing and management reportsProvide monthly reporting for Solar Development projects and act as a financial adviser for project managersCalculate and analyze KPIs for BU Scorecard and provide input for the Objective Key Results (OKR) process on Business Unit and Solar Development levelAct as the interface to Accounting with respect to all questions regarding Solar DevelopmentPrepare financial business plan for Solar Development as part of the overall Business Unit and Business Area processParticipate in Project Steering Groups (PSG) and team meetings of Solar DevelopmentPlay a strong role in our project to reduce LECAd hoc participation in BU / Controlling projects and strategic improvement initiativesYour Essential QualificationsOur ideal candidate is an enterprising, structured person who can create relations and is able to work in an international environment with colleagues and a manager in different locations. This also requires being visible and having strong communication skills. You have the ability to transfer conceptual ideas into practical solutions and you are proactive in business controlling and have a strong focus in business partnership. You have an understanding of key financial processes and like to work with figures and make thorough analyses without losing the big picture.Your qualifications:A university degree in a relevant field (i.e. controlling, economics, accounting or finance)A minimum 3 years’ experience within business controlExperience within the energy market is an advantage, as well as work experience in a corporate environment with international exposure (desired)Good business acumen and analytical skillsWorking experience in SAP (or similar package) and Power BI, as well as strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
