Position: Aviation Civil Engineer

NARIK CONSULTING, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a leading consulting firm in the aviation industry, we are committed to providing our clients with innovative and efficient solutions for their projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee construction of various aviation infrastructure projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and terminal buildings
  • Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and design
  • Prepare design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for aviation projects
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including FAA regulations and local building codes
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
  • Review and approve contractor submittals and resolve any design issues that may arise during construction
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure project specifications are met
  • Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, and other project documentation
  • Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies to continuously improve project designs and processes
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
  • Detailed Construction Costs Estimating
  • Technical Specification Writing
  • Proficient in MS Office Software
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation engineering, with a focus on design and construction of airport infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel for project assignments
